Barefoot. Vulnerable. Self-loving.

Events, workshops, and retreats created specifically for plus size women.

I run live events and retreats that help plus size women straddle the sticky place between radical self-acceptance and what it takes to create real change to live greater, more authentic, and more liberated lives.

My events are not magic. What they are, is REAL. They are place where women of all sizes can drop their guard and show up fully, knowing they are enough exactly as they are.

I’m neck deep planning my next event. Add yourself to my Event VIP email list to be the first to know and get a discount for early bird!

There’s a reason I run events for plus size women. Let me tell you what it is. (But, if you’re plus size, I bet you already know..)

In 2016 I registered for a personal growth event run by a celeb-teacher. I was so freaking excited! One month before the event, I received an email asking me what size tee shirt I wanted for my swag. Did I want a women’s Small, Medium, Large, or a men’s XL. My heart sank. I knew at that moment that my body was subconsciously unwelcome.

I spent the months leading up to the experience wracked with fear about my body. I “armored up” and became defensive, knowing in my heart I’d be the “only fat chick” in the room. I stressed about the seats we’d be sitting in — would I even FIT? I know what it’s like to go to an event and feel unwelcome. I know what it’s like to be the only plus-size person in the room. This is why I run event experiences. Bodies of EVERY size deserve to participate in the process of growth and self-improvement! Those who come to my event know I have done the work in advance to make sure that the experience is as size accommodating as possible.

Every one of my events is designed to invite you to the table of your own life! I am not a therapist or a wacky life coach. I’m a woman who creates spaces designed to help you connect with yourself. It is only when you do this that you can start to dig in and see WHO you are, and understand where you want to explore more when it comes to your growth. Regardless of experience, all my events are guided by a set of core values:

Self-Awareness: We are willing to see ourselves with honesty. It can be hard, but we know we are capable of doing and seeing hard things. It is only through this that we can find radical acceptance for ourselves in the present.

CONNECTION: We prioritize creating community based on vulnerability, humor, and shared experiences. We know what it feels like to be excluded by others for the things we are self-conscious about; we do our best to never judge others.

BRAVERY: We try new things and step out of our comfort zone, even if it’s scary. We know we can catch ourselves and that others will help us to land softly when needed.

I’d love to have you join me for an event! Get on my email list to be the first to know when I’ve got something planned.

    xoxo

The last few years have seen a rise in “destination tourism” for plus size women. It’s great! But there’s a difference between “going on a vacation” to party, and an experienced centered around self-development. I do the later.
